Sarah Vail spent forty years in private industry before retiring to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to write mystery-suspense fiction. To keep her writing interesting and authentic, she has continued her education in Creative writing, Copy Editing, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science,
Criminology, Criminal Interrogation, Weapons Handling, and World History.
Ms. Vail is an award-winning author and has attended many West Coast Writing Conferences. She has been
active in a critique group where she honed her craft. Her current mystery suspense novels, JAMES STREET, SNOW COUNTRY LANE, and OLD SCHOOLHOUSE ROAD are offered in hardcover, softcover, and ebook formats.
Before retiring, Ms. Vail raised and showed Purebred Arabian Horses, enjoyed downhill skiing and snowmobiling in her leisure time. She is currently working on a new novel in her mystery/suspense series and a historical fiction novel set during the German occupation of Poland during World War II.
Ms. Vail became a member of the governing board for Bitterroot Mountain Publishing in 2021.
