Mark Griswold

Author

Mark Griswold writes in a variety of genres: poetry; essays on public policy, culture, travel, and the arts; and short stories and novels. Mark generally writes in the literary vein but also endeavors to entertain readers with espionage thrillers. He is editing his first novel, a literary work set in late 1940s Hollywood. 

In the past, he wrote for his university’s newspaper and worked for the Washington State Senate’s communication office. He hosted and contributed to radio programs. Occasionally, Mark acts and recently played Santa in the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s “Journey to the North Pole” Christmas production. When not pursuing more creative endeavors, he works as a real estate agent.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, serving as Cubmaster of one of the local Cub Scout Packs, spending time in the outdoors hiking and skiing, and traveling the world.


He joined the board of Bitterroot Mountain Publishing House in 2021 and currently serves as Vice President.
